Yellow Fin (Level 1)
The Yellow Fin marks the first step in your surfing journey. At this stage, students learn to connect with the ocean, feel confident in the water, and master the foundations of surfing. We combine theory, practice, and values to build a safe, respectful, and fun relationship with the sea.
ENVIRONMENT
Understand the beach and the ocean — how waves, tides, and currents move — so you can feel comfortable and confident in the water.
SAFETY
Students learn how to handle their board in shallow water, how to protect themselves and others, and about ocean conditions.
BASICS
Paddling, pop-up technique, balance, and control — catch your first waves and start building real surfing skills.

Blue Fin (Level 2)
The Blue Fin level is where surfers start to feel in control. Students are now comfortable standing up in the whitewater and begin exploring the first green, unbroken waves. The focus shifts toward balance, positioning, and reading the ocean.
BALANCE
Improve body positioning, weight distribution, and flow on the board to maintain stability through longer rides.
WAVE SELECTION
Learn how to recognize good waves, where to position yourself, and how to match your speed and angle as the wave begins to break.
TIMING
Develop the sense of when to paddle, when to pop up, and how to synchronize your movements with the wave’s energy.

Purple Fin (Level 3)
The Purple Fin level is where surfers truly start surfing — riding the open face of the wave with control, direction, and flow. At this stage, students learn how to position themselves in the lineup, improve paddling power, and read waves with confidence.
POSITIONING
Learn how to position yourself in the lineup, spot the right waves, and make quick decisions to catch them with confidence.
DIRECTION CONTROL
Develop your ability to ride along the face of the wave, adjust your stance, and control your turns to maintain speed and flow.
TIMING
Understand how to generate and maintain speed through body movement and board positioning, feeling the wave’s power.

Black Fin (Level 4)
The Black Fin level represents mastery. Surfers at this stage have developed strong ocean awareness, confident positioning, and refined control. This level focuses on reading waves deeply, maintaining flow through sections, and executing maneuvers with purpose and style.
